My phone won't turn on blank screen?
Blank screen even when plugged into the charger or my Mac.

Just got off the phone with Verizon and they taught me to "reboot" my iPhone... Just hold down the Home button and the power button simultaneously until the Apple Logo appears... Then the iPhone will come up... Hope this helps!!

Thank you, mine just shut down inexplicably a few minutes ago and the two-button solution worked. I was about to look up the nearest Apple store.

Plugged my IPhone 4S to charger, using 3rd party charger. It went blank. Was in a panic mode and swore I will never buy Apple product again......then I read this. It worked. Thank you!

Take it to Apple.
If it's still under warranty, I really wouldn't recommend trying to troubleshoot it and fix it yourself.
