I downloaded my credit union's mobile banking app to my LG Stylo 2V VS835 but the snap deposit doesn't function properly. It works fine on my SGS6.

This is something you have to report to the App maker. The Samsung Galaxy S series are probably the defacto tests all Android developers use to make their apps. My friend also has this issue with her Citibank Mobile App. It works on the Galaxy S8, but not necessarily her other 2 Android phones. She reported the issue and the App maker released a fix for one of the phones.
