Ipad mini 2 - Wont turn on

Hello there,

i am having issues with an iPad mini 2. When i turn it on i can see the apple logo for a second and than the lcd turns off. When i plug it into my Computer it says it is running just fine, but i cant see a thing on the Screen.

I did a hard and soft reset and after that i restored it. Still the same thing.

Is it a more likely a Software or a Hardware Problem. Do you have any suggestions how to fixit?

Options

Once the screen goes dark, push the home button and shine a bright flashlight on the screen. If you see a dim image, then the problem is backlight related. If you see no image at all, then you have an LCD issue. It's hard to say if its related to the actual LCD itself (which also includes the backlight) or with the driver circuits on the logic board.

Has anything out of the ordinary happened to the iPad recently, such as drops, damage, repairs or contact with water?

At some point, it will have to be opened up for proper troubleshooting.
