My itouch's screen is cracked and the touch interface works do i need to buy the LCD and the Front panel assembly, also how do i tell if the LCD is cracked or if its the glass or both?

if the touch interface works, than the digitalizer (which is the front glass) is ok, and you only need to replace the LCD panel itself, i belive ifixit may sell them, and they do have a guide on how to replace the LDC panel, and if the LCD panel is the only thing cracked, than you don't need a new front panel assembly.

you need to purchase a new digitizer bezel assembly for the generation of itouch you have. this wwill replace the broken glass digitizer

You probably just need to buy the LCD touch Digitizer. Also if you have a black ipod touch 4th generation you can buy colored screens like blue, black, pink, or white. Thats if you dont like the color you already have.
