Why is show black screen

The DSLR D3100 from Nikon was released in August 19th, 2010. Features a 14.2 MP camera, Full 1080p HD movie, and a 3 inch LCD screen.

when i open camera i can take pic but ic ant say i think screen is brake

Options

When you switch ON, does the lens move ? Any strange noise ?

Is the lens Open ? Is the eye-lid open ?

I'm asking to determine electronic problem or mechanical problem.
