I turn on my pad and just a flicker is seen on the screen, could it ..

Someone replaced the screen and i added the wake/sleep part to it now it just flickers when i turn it on. Battery has 3.7 v on two legs and 2.4 volts on the other. If they’re not balanced could that be a problem? Also someone pulled hard on connector on the back of theLCD screen/panel and i did a fix to hold it down. Could not find where to get one from to replace it. Any thoughts ? ? Thnaks

Options

Are you referring to the LCD display connector on the board being damaged? That is most likely what is causing the problem, if it's physically damaged you may need to get it replaced via micro-soldering.

No the one on the back of the LCD screen. I maneuvered a metal clap of sort to press it down to make sure it fully makes contact with the pins underit. I don’t know where i can buy it , it’s not offered on the site.

Are you talking about the ZIF connector that connects to the home button on the display board or the ZIF connector that connects to the display on that same board?

The plastic clip lock for the ZIF connector needs to be there or else the pins will not connect properly with a ribbon cable.
