If your replacement screen came with the Front Camera & Sensor Flex pre-installed, then it may be a damaged or defective flex. This is not uncommon as replacement small parts tend to have high defect rates. It's always best to transfer over your original flex that way you have Apple original parts.

So check out this guide and put your original flex in the replacement screen to see if that solves your problem.

Changed the flex from old screen, everything working fine except auto brightness

Try a hard reset and if that doesn't work, do a backup and then a full restore to see if that helps.

Try reseating the cables into the phones motherboard there mught be tiny particles preventing sufficient contact. Maybe try looking in your phones battery settings as auto brightness helps battery life. Let me know if this helps, Good Luck!

Hi, If you already tried LCD and all flex, it should be the logic board problem. Backlight IC or filters are probably damaged due to quality or electric problem.

And the picture, it is the solution for similar problem on iPhone 6. I will try to find the same picture for iPhone 6S.
