Gigaset QV 830 loop freeze?

My gigaset began freezing using chrome (barely worked with Windows) . Was going to factory reset but decided to clear cache first. When brought up s reen and tapped cache the Android figure with molecule rotating in body and looping line above head continuously rotate. Tried letting it run out/ recharge same problem.

At first couldn't turn off, then on and off itself then long time to turn off. Now use paper clip in back, goes off right way. Any way to fix? Sentimental gift from father.
