Home button not working after screen replacement

Hey guys!


I need help, I have replaced the LCD/Digitizer assembly on an iPad Pro 9.7 and the home button no longer works. Not just Touch ID, but the physical clicking too. I have tried a new home button and multiple new screens. Neither the old or new home buttons work with the original screen or any of the new screens I have. Please help!
