Why my phone often become slow?

Try starting the phone in safe mode and check how it performs.

If it works OK then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. (Allow enough time to ensure that it is working OK in this mode). The trick is to find out which one.

Try to remember when the problem first started happening and then check if there were any downloaded apps installed, updated etc around the same time.

If that is inconclusive, you’ll have to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and check the phone’s performance in the normal mode, after each uninstall.

When the phone’s performance returns to normal then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled is the culprit.

Since you say that it happens only 3-4 times a day, unfortunately it may be a slow process to find the problem.

If it still hangs when in safe mode, try a factory restore to see if this will reset the phone back to normal operation.

Before you perform a factory restore, backup your phone using the phone’s backup feature.

Be aware that a factory restore (also known as a hard reset) will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its’ factory default condition. That’s why it’s important to backup the phone before performing a factory restore.

Once you have backed up your phone, use the phone’s factory restore feature to perform a factory restore.

Once it has been restored, check the phone’s performance and see if it works OK. Allow enough time to ensure that you’re satisfied that all is OK.

It it still performs poorly then you have a hardware problem.

It its’ performance is OK, restore the phone with the backup that you made earlier, using the phone’s restore feature.

Once it has been restored to what it was before you started, check the performance of the phone to ensure that it is still OK.

If it is still OK then the reset has resolved the problem.
