There are a number of safety triggers inside that can cause this. If the tape doesn’t load properly for example, there are optical sensors that can detect this and will result in the tape being ejected. The reasoning for this is to save the tapes from damage. In order to better provide a solution on how to fix this, we need the exact make and model. The fix can be as simple as replacing a defective belt, but it will depend upon the model.
