That drive is listed as an external Passport drive. It may not have conventional SATA I/O. Have you opened the case?

Lately the mypassports have the USB in the drive, thus no SATA interference. I was quite surprised when I found out... It saves space I guess *shrug*
No I have not opened it but I won't now thanks alot
