Why is my MacBook Pro's screen turning off?

So a while ago, my macbook pro started experiencing graphic card issues. For example when plugged into an external display using thunderbolt to vga or the hdmi port on the side, it would start overheating and the internal display would shut off and the connected device will lose connection. Recently I started using it and the problem occurs less on the mac side and more on the windows side of the mac which uses the dedicated graphics card. I was searching for fixes online and found out about something having to do with the wifi or something, and it seemed like it was not the problem for me. But today for some reason when on mac and windows my device won’t connect to wifi and it would run smoothly with fan speeds at normal and it never shut off it just stayed on. Currently I’m on my phone hotspot which after connecting to it, the mac started overheating. I would just like to know if this is an easy or possible fix without buying anything extra.

My plan was and might still be to just replace the logic board, but if there is any other way please let me know!
