Hey Guys, I have recently done the screen replacement on the iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen and afterwards have lost all touch. I can’t seem to find any schematics or anything online. But was wondering if anyone could help me with what filter I can use to replace the existing one.
Any help would be appreciated

Yea it’s the filter next to the 2nf cap. I’m just wondering I have a 6s board spare. Would there be the same filter on there ? Is it just a generic filter.
There's no such thing as a generic filter...these are ferrite beads and there are thousands of different specs. You could use the same one as the iPad Air 2, which is a 120R/450mA/0201 and see if it handles the current load properly by leaving the display at maximum brightness for a few hours.

You'll need to fill in the blanks here. You take about a filter what do you mean?
From what you are describing it sounds like your digitizer is disconnected or the ribbon cable is damaged. Review this guide Remplacement de l'écran de l'iPad Pro 12,9". It’s also possible you have a bad one as well.

Hey Dan. Sorry that was very vague. So after checking the logic board. There was a burnt out filter. Just above the screen flex connector on the board.
I’m just wanting to no if there’s a substitute filter I can use from another board ?

Hey dan. IF you have a look at the link Minho just posted. You can see the filter that I’m referring too. It’s right next to the 2.0nf cap above the lcd connector.

experience has shown that it works without the capacitor even without a jumper
check the named filters and swap them if necessary, that's all.

What do you mean by “check the named filters”
Is there a doc or specs somewhere here on this forum?
