Why is my battery going down a LOT quicker than it normally does

Try disabling WiFi and Bluetooth if they are not needed at the time as both of these functions consume a lot of power continually searching for new networks and devices. Check the Advanced settings for the WiFi to see if you can better optimize its performance e.g. what is the WiFi Sleep setting set to, Always On, Never etc?

If the battery still discharges more quickly than before then your battery may be failing to hold its’ charge and needs to be replaced. Even rechargeable batteries have a lifespan.
