Hi

I have an iMac Intel 21.5 "EMC 2544 where the HDD Bay 1 and 2 are 249 and 129 degrees.

I can find out there is a problem with temperature control. But is it a new HDD going on or is it a resistor ex. on the Logic Board to be corrected Someone who can help me there.

Greetings René

Lets try a better tool:

Install this app TG Pro. Once installed take a snapshot of the main window, you'll likely need to stretch out the window first so all the sensors are all visible. Then shutdown the system letting it cool (4+ hours), restart it and take another snapshot Ajout d'images à une question existante

Take a second snapshot, stretch out the bottom as we're missing quite a few sensors and the fans. enable S.M.A.R.T. as well under options Temperatures.

You still need to enable the S.M.A.R.T. services so the drives are properly seen within TG Pro.

HWMonitor's not listing the drive values and there is no HDD Bay value so disregard the two lines as they are bogus! HWMonitor does correctly show you the drives temp below in the Drive Temperature listing of the Apple HDD ST1000LM024.

TG Pro would also give you that once you enable S.M.A.R.T.

At this point your system appears to be normal. I would recommend you stick with TG Pro as its a better app if you get the full version you’ll also get a diagnostic function which I find useful.
