Looking for logic board pictures

Hi,

I have found pictures of the logic board of the MacBook Pro (Early 2011, 15 inches) model but no pictures of the 17 inches model. Could someone tell me if the logic board of the 15 and 17 inches models are the same? Or point me to pictures of the 17 inches model?

The reason is that an after sale service has sent me pictures proving my mac book pro 17 (2011) has received liquid on its logic board and I'm sure these pictures are fakes. But I cannot prove this till I have real pictures to compare.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Update: the pictures sent by the after sale service are those of a MBP 13" 2010!!! The manager of the retailer who sent my 2 month old MBP 17" 2011 there is now investigating! Thanks for your help.

The LSI (Liquid Submersion Indicators) will have turned red if they've gotten wet. Here are their locations: http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/08/...

also see this for the ones by the RAM: http://www.myservice.com/blog/tag/MacBoo...

Thanks a lot, I will ask them to send me a picture of these LSI. This after sale service is saying these three pictures are from my 2 month olds Mac Book Pro 17", Early 2011!?! I never spoiled anything on it:

picture one

,

picture two

,

picture three

.

I can't believe that!

If they are trying to cheat you, they can always wet the indicators. If you don't trust them get your machine back and check your logic board serial number.

Thanks for your help. My Mac Book Pro has finally been fixed under warranty! The after sale service has recognized an error in its initial diagnostic. Very surprising considering the fake photos were taken the very day the diagnostic was made (exif data prove that).

What was their explanation of the photos?

par

No explanations! The after sale service only put a document stating an error has been made during diagnostic. And the retailer where I get my computer back had no more explanations. I hope someday I'll learn more about this. A surprising detail: the logic board has actually been replaced! So who know what happend to the original logic board?
