Keyboard and Trackpad doesn't work since I replaced the battery

Hello,

Since I’ve replaced the battery by a new one, both trackpad and keyboard doesn’t work. I tried without battery and with my old battery but I got the same issue. So I bought a new trackpad cable and the trackpad and keyboard are still inoperative..

I can use the mac just with a extern mouse and keyboard. I’ve tried SMC, PRAM, delite .plist and nothing work.

Options

I would replace the Retina MacBook Pro 13" Trackpad Flex Cable cable which is a common failure on this series. The symptoms you describe where both the keyboard & trackpad are not working centers around either the cable or the trackpad as its the common points for this problem.

I've already replaced this cable unfortunately… I ordered a other one in case of the first is broken.

OK, Good! So your MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Trackpad needs replacing. The trackpad in this series is a junction point for the keyboard so when both fail its either the cable or the trackpad its self.

Look at the pins to see if you see corrosion or bent pin.

The trackpad looks good, it can't be a software issue ?

Run diagnostics if you can. Restart the system press the ‘’’D’’’ key. Any errors?

I can’t see this as a software issue. It’s always hardware from all of the systems I’ve done.

No error found during the diagnostic. So it's necessarily the trackpad ?

There is no trackpad available in the ifixit store (Australia), the trackpad that I mentioned is good ?

Options

Check for any dislodged / missing components near the edges of the main logic board where you may have possibly used a pry card around those areas as that’s the only other thing I can think of that’s causing the keyboard and trackpad to stop working.
