bent case by sd card slot

I dropped my computed and it landed on the metal leg of my computer stand just right to bend the aluminum frame right on the sd card slot. I was able to get my camera card out but don’t want to risk sticking a screwdriver in the slot to try to open up the space again and actually damage the card slot. The top half of the slot is OK it’s just the bottom half that is bent up just enough to keep the card from going in easily. Suggestions?

After reading the directions, tools list, and required arctic cleaner/heat paste required I'm questioning if I should just live with it the way it is. There is another work a round, a USB cable that goes from my camera to my computer as an alternate method. It's more cumbersome but it only takes seconds to a few minutes to download my photos. I'm questioning the cost of tools and cleaner/glue, not to mention time and if I screw something up in the process and then have another repair. I've repaired the click wheel on my old apple iPod but I depend on my laptop for all my photo editing. I do a lot of volunteer photography for organizations, Lion's Club, Women's club, church events, etc. Options? Continue to use the USB cable vs repairing/widening the card slot enough to be able to insert a card again? Thanks for any advice.

Reshaping aluminum is finicky and very prone to error unless you have a steady hand - that’s why it’s generally better to live with minor dents that are purely cosmetic then to try and fix them. However, you may need to replace the chassis anyway, which makes it no harm no foul if you can afford the system downtime to try. Use a wide head flathead screwdriver and a rubber mallet to avoid doing significant damage if you find it’s too difficult.

Tear the system down with the guide @danj linked, and then see if you can do it. If you find it’s too difficult, have someone who will get it right have a shot at it or replace the chassis.
