I replaced my screen on my iphone 6 plus. The new touch screen from ifixit works great. The home button works fine, camera works as well. However, I no longer have a working microphone. I can’t ask Siri anything, speak to someone on a phone call if the speaker is on, or dictate text messages, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

My guess would be that in the repair you cut one of the microphone cables, jostled it from its position, or that it is no longer in its original place.

Ensure the charging port is securely plugged in, or try a new charging flex to see if u get the mic working again. If just plugging it back in doesn't work just have a quick look at the bottom mics
