Gas powered golf cart won’t start
Bought new battery put cart won’t start now. What can the problem be?

Disconnected fuel pump/clogged fuel line? Bad wiring? No distributor belt? Seized engine? Blown fuse? Neutral safety switch? Discharged Flux capacitor?
If it’s there, try turning the key to “Start”, or pressing any buttons next to the ignition.

Probably a good idea to add some comments describing what the unit does, what sound(s) it makes etc when you try turning it on. Why was the battery replaced? Right now with no descriptive comments, one might reason you replaced the battery when all you needed to do is fill the gas tank. ;-)

Thanks prop man...you’re right and sorry for the lack of info.
I was gone for about 11 months so it just sat their, was suppose to be only two months but you know...Uncle Sam felt like I needed to be their a bit longer. When I tried starting it by turning the key to the On position and then pressing the gas pedal... nothing happened. Tried charging battery but wouldn’t hold a charge so I figured I would just replace it. After I installed new battery. It still would not start and makes no noise or sound when key is in the On position and I press gas pedal. It has gas and I cleaned battery connections before installing. I’m no mechanic but if guided maybe I can try to fix before calling in a professional.
