My iphone 8 dropped and now most of the screen is covered by ink. The phone is now dead and I’m not sure if I charge it whether or not it will catch on fire.

I would play it safe and just repair the screen and then turn it on.

@jeantop no, it will not catch on fire. Obviously (I am sure you already know this) you would need to replace the display assembly to repair your phone but you can charge it.

No don’t charge it you might disabled your iphone! get a screen repair and then charged
