Can't access public wifi (DHCP Error/DNS Error)

I’m struggling to connect my chromebook to my university public wifi. Only when I’m in the library will it connect and offer me the prompt screen to log into the internet using my student number.

When I’m anywhere else it will either look like the Wifi is connected and not offer me the prompt screen (neverssl.com will come up but not trigger the prompt screen) or it will tell me DHCP Error or DNS Error.

Any ideas?

Sounds like an issue with the network configuration at your university. Are you having similar problems connecting to other WiFi networks?

I would try disabling IPV6
