Display got red line in some cases

Hello everyone. I have a problem with the display. When I am opening and closing the top, some red blinks appear. I attach a screenshot of this

The interesting detail is that I got repaired this Mac like a 4 days ago, the reason why I went to service center was also a problem with the display! But it was a bit different, there is also a screenshot of that

The support told to reset Reset NVRAM or PRAM with this https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063 instruction. For now it’s gone, but I don’t believe that it’s gone forever

Did they replace the display?

Ouch! Your display has a crack! Looks like something heavy was dropped on the lid or something sat on the system.

Thank a lot, @danj! I've already replaced that display, but that's interesting to know this fact. Could you please take a look on the first screenshot? That's the case with the new display

@birdi7 - The image is too blurry to see anything in your first image. How about trying again maybe you want to make a short vid. Use a tripod or other means to steady the camera/iPhone you might want to increase the light as well, just be careful the light is not reflected off the screen.

If this is a new display, then they may have damaged the ribbon cables that feed from the T-CON board to the LCD which is mounted within the uppercase.

The newer 2016 models moved it from the display assembly down to the uppercase which I think was a bad design decision. The number of lines is more and the flexing puts it at risk. We've already seen an issue with the backlight ribbon cable as well as overheating T-CON boards when people block the vents.
