Emerson 42 inch tv powers on blinks 19 times.

TV remains powered on and the menu button displays the menu when prompted. The channel button changes the channels as well as the source. The problem is when I attempt to connect an external device such as a DVD player or VCR. I have tried the hdmi input port, the coax port and the red/white&yellow cables to no avail. The screen remains black and a small box comes up with the words NO SIGNAL. PLZ advise me on the best way to fix the issue so that my fiance and I can have a movie night (at home). Got to keep that fire burning!

@izzybella what is the exact model number for your TV?

I would find 19 blinks to be excessive, there must be a gap in there somewhere, in the digital world, 15 is the highest number I would think usable and I feel that is still too high. I would like to see a video of your blinks to make sense of the trouble code.
