OLED display is extremely dark.

I am however able to still see the picture if I hold a flashlight close to the screen. I am not sure it is doing this. It's a LG 55LF5700 roku tv. I know there is no back light but should it all of a sudden stop working and is there a way to fix this. I turned all the brightness settings up, but being an OLED display all settings are overridden by the manufacturer settings. It does have a ton of hours on it but should have many years left in it.
