No charging, no power after battery replacement

Hi.

After I did battery replacement my MacBook Pro 13” early 2011 stopped charging and it works just on AC power. My magsafe always shows green light and I tried to do SMC many times but magsafes light didnt change color to amber. I tried reset my NVRAM but same result. My MacBook shows that my battery is not recognized or connected but everything is connected properly. Magsafe is original and still working with other macbooks. I tried coconut battery app and it shows me that my battery is unknown and has 0 cycles. I tried to put my old battery (which was working before but only for Like an hour ) and same result. Tried to do SMC for non-removable batteries and also for removable. When I connect my magsafe, turn on macbook it works and even if I unplug magsafe it works for a few minutes and then turn off. I tried to skip SMC with unplugging battery, magsafe. Then i held powerbutton for 10 secconds, then I connect my battery and push powerbutton. Its working but with maximum fan - speed and I cannot see my battery status or charge. I tried to dissasembly my macbook and clean everything with toothbrush. I’ve changed thermalpaste but with no result. Can anyone help me with this situation? Thank You!!

I’m not a expert, but there may be 2 different issues:

  1. You might have a defective battery, so you might want to order one from ifixit and try installing that one
  2. Considering how old your computer is, your logic board might have corrosion, and is defective. so you might want to consider gutting it out, and putting a new logic board inside. if you don’t want to pay for a new logic board, you can solder on a new SMC.

Hi. As I mentioned I’ve put my original battery back and it didnt power on or charge. The new battery is working if I skip SMC. Maybe I have to solder on a new SMC. :(

That will probably be the best option. ifixit also sells the logic boards if you don't want to go through the hassle of soldering
