What is the role of this part?

My watch’s glass was broken and I repaired(replaced) at personal fix store few months ago.

Today I found a gap between the glass and aluminium frame.

He was not a good engineer -_-;

I teared it and saw the flat cable(?) was cut ; the red line of the image.

Questions.

1. What is the role of the part that blue lined? Is there any disabled work by that disconnection?

2.Can I replace it? I couldn’t find that part by googling.

Options

The part is a foil shield to protect the display/touch assembly from EMI noise from the battery/SIP module blow it. Here’s a better view

The cut off segments (right side) are the connection point to the case (drain). Apple does not offer replacement parts.

As this point I don’t know if your watch is repairable or not. I hope you got your money back from this person as he clearly didn’t know what they where doing!

Shields are important! Maybe you can find a junker watch which you can salvage the shield from.

can the disconnection make influence to blutooth?

AIRPod works only very close to the watch after repair.

Sadly yes! The EMI noise can interfere with the wireless connections (Bluetooth or WiFi)
