Nexus 5 screen vertical lines

I was dropped my Nexus 5 and screen was damaged (only glass was broken touch was working). Then I started using a new phone and left the old one aside.

Now I decided to repair my old nexus 5 device. First i tried to boot the device but i saw only light and vertical white lines on screen. I tought screen is broken in time and I bought a new screen. I replaced the old screen with new one but nothing changed. What is the problem can it be fixed?
