I have a macbook here but the keyboard and trackpad do not work. However, the computer still turns on with the press of the power button even though the rest of the keys are bad. Does that mean I have to replace both the keyboard and trackpad or just the trackpad?

It could just be the data cable that runs both the trackpad and the keyboard to one connector. I’d replace that first
