Medion Erazer P6705 disassembly?

Hello,

I’m trying to open up my Medion Erazer P6705 laptop in order to replace the thermal paste. However, I can’t seem to figure out how exactly to open the back cover. I’ve opened other laptops and it’s usually a straightforward, simple process: remove screws and it easily comes off. Job done.

That’s not the case with this laptop. I removed the screws that were buried deep in the holes of the back cover, but that really didn’t seem to do anything. The back cover was still attached and seemingly firmly in place.

Am I missing something? There isn’t much information online about this model. Hopefully someone here knows.

Hi,

Don't know the laptop but has it got a model information label on the back cover?

I've found with other electronic devices that sometimes there is also a recessed screw underneath the label which is holding the cover down.

Try gently peeing off the label to check if there is a screw there.

Just a thought.
