Why my logic board died?
Hi all,
Here is mine: a couple of weeks ago I found back my old 6th gen Ipod classic, I put aside few years ago because a dock connector pin was bent, the ipod was unable to sync. But it still could charge and play music.
I decided to revive it, and bought a new connector. Waiting for it I started to gently disassemble it. Then I succeed to unbent the pin.
But when I reassembled it, it did not power on, neither be recognized by my computer or charge.
I did not hear any HDD sound.
I checked the battery with a multimeter and it is ok.
Then it should be the logic board?!
How could it be?
Is there a way to be sure it is dead?
If some battery connector was damaged the computer would recognize it, wouldn’t it?
Thank you

Thank you oldturkey03, I’ll order some new, I noticed there are several with the same reference (616-0230) but different intensity, no intensity is written on my battery. What would it change if I put a different one? The total capacity?
