No forward or reverse on 1994 Club Car 48 Volt.

Hello, I have a electric 1994 Club Car 48 volt with no forward or reverse. Batteries are charged. Press on pedal and no movement or sound at all. I noticed a couple days before this happened that whenever I would put the cart in gear is that the cart would want to move forward or reverse just a little bit without having foot on pedal. Not sure if that has anything to do with current problem but would appreciate any feedback. Thanks
