How can I get it to power on?

Barely used, but is a 2003 manufactured model. Can’t get it to power on at all. Never used turntable. Used cassette, cd, and radio with no prior issues. The cord is in good shape. Unplugged when not in use. What steps can I take myself to try and fix? Took the bottom cover off, but can’t see how to get further inside as appears to all be laminated wood and no other openings.

@crazycritter if it is not powering up at all you will have to take a look at the power supply and the fuses. Post some good pictures of the whole thing. Every side as well as top and bottom so we can at least try to figure out how to open it. Ajout d'images à une question existante

@crazycritter looking at the vent holes etc. in image #9 it'll be behind there. Can you remove that by taking the screws out

Image #10 is after I took the screws out that are shown in #9. But, there's no way to get further than that as the #10 and #11 show the wood laminate all sealed around the edges. Am wondering if I could remove the turntable and access the guts from the topside. Thanks for the feedback though.

I guess I could start taking the screws out of the front panel and see what that opens up too.

Picture # 9 was of the bottom of the device. Picture #10 and #11 are of the bottom after removing the particleboard that you see in #9. There's a second board that is now visible with all the guts screwed into it upside down, but no way to get inside unless via the front panel or turntable.
