Hi all.
I’m looking at getting an Apple Watch. I have a iPhone 6 and I am aware that WatchOS6 needs iOS 13 which my phone doesn’t have. So if I bought a reset Apple Watch series 2 when I install the OS could to install watchOS5 not WatchOS6?

Answer wasn't relevant to question - question related to software compatibility between Apple Watch Series 2 and iPhone 6, rather than the process of such pairing. Due to the inability to downgrade watchOS versions, the answer lies in the state of the watch, rather than the steps following it.

If you buy a watch that is running watchOS 5 or lower, then you should be able to pair it. If that watch is running watchOS 6, or is bought new, then unfortunately you will not be able to pair it.
