6 What caused the pedometer to glitch?
A while ago, I was shaking the 3DS around to get Play Coins (I was seven or eight years old or so), and suddenly, the pedometer began thinking one step was hundreds of steps, and I got no Play Coins, so the system may have been partially aware of this error. I somehow managed to fix this later, but I don’t remember how. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

Note: The 3DS is the same color as the one in the picture. There was also a "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" protective cover applied.
