My laptop wont charge.

Hi.

My cat ate the chraging cable of my laptop.

Some wires were sticking out, eventually it shorted while it was connected.

The computer shut down an after dissconcting the cable and turning it back on, it worked.

After getting a new charge cable it seems that it wont charge and even worse, it doesn't detect the charger at all.

I tried other chargers, original and non original. None work.

I carcked it open to check the chrarging port.

It was ok, all the connectors were good and the power were coming through as i checked with a multimeter.

Im guessing something on the mb is shorted.

I'd appreciate any help here on how to fix it.
