S5-44 IWatch's Display won't turn on after replacement , issue rooted.

I have replaced the glass of an S5 44 Display. after the display was ready I have connected only the display ribbon cable to check the OLED display. apple logo appeared and everything was fine for moment, after that the display went dim and won’t turn on again although the watch is working , I have confirmed this since I noticed the vibration. I have disconnected the ribbon cable and noticed LOCA still inside, so I removed the ribbon cable and cleaned it thoroughly, the problem persists. I have another watch that I removed the display from to check whether it is the display or not. the repaired display worked just fine on the other watch however both displays won’t work on the watch that I have mentioned at first. any thoughts on this !

Hi Mohammed,

Were you able to resolve this? I had the exact same thing happen to my watch.

I connected the new screen, put it on the charger. The snake charger logo came on for a second, then went dim, and the screen hasn't come on since.

I have the old screen which the digitizer cable was torn on. But the LCD would still display. Now it's not displaying anything either.

Seems like the watch may have shorted out or something?
