Screen Issue after removing Staingate

I purchased a late 2013 macbook and it had the wonderful stain gate issue. I followed the Listerine trick to remove the anti glare coating and it worked a treat. I then wiped the screen down with an anti-bacterial wipe (cause of coronavirus!) and I am now left with the following mark. The rubber at this corner of the screen is also loose and i’m guessing this is liquid in the screen?

I currently have the Macbook in a box with a fan blowing on it but so far no change (only been 24 hours).

Just wondering if it is in fact liquid damage and if anyone else has any ideas that have worked? Unfortunately a screen replacement is too expensive so ill try whatever I can or will end up living with it for the time being.
