Won’t show display!

Hey guys! Anyone on here with an answer would be great! I’ve tried repairing a broken screen on an Apple Watch series 4 and after putting in the new one it will not turn on or show ANY display. It was working prior the repair but now I get nothing…

Options

Try unplugging the battery and then press the crown for 15 sec’s. Then plug the battery back in.

Do I continue to hold the crown as I plug in the battery? Or plug in the battery AFTER I release the crown button?

The function of pressing the crown is to discharge the circuits. Once discharged you don't need to press it any longer.
