Bottom half TV screen has tiny horizontal lines RESOLVED TV SOLD

Unfortunately I got scammed and bought this used on OfferUp and would like to fix it now, since I don’t want to do the same to someone else and just re-sell it.

This TV has this slight tint and small horizontal lines on the bottom half.

TV: 55” 4K LED Smart TV - 55S425 (LFCA)

Troubleshooting steps:

• Power-cycled
• Factory reset
• Tried the screensaver trick
• Opened up the back and wiggled ribbon cables (did not make any change in image)
• Powered off and re-seated ribbon cable from both sides. Still has same issue
• Looked to see if anything is loose and de-soldered and everything looks ok
• I did notice that this does not appear on green and white colors, but does appear on red and blue colors

I found that there is a main board + power supply + wifi repair kit for this TV online.

My question is this: Does it looks like its a panel issue or is it most likely an issue with the boards? If you think the boards, then I can buy the $50 repair kit and try it out.
