Problem with iPhone SE power/headphone unit?

I’ve had to replace the Lightening/headphone unit on my iPhone SE a couple times and was able to do it without issue.

I just received another replacement and noticed a difference that may be a problem. The previous units had a lug on the right side that fits under the right hand screw on the speaker. It looks like this is to ground the connector to the case.

On this image, the lug is right next to the tech’s thumb.

My replacement unit doesn’t have a lug, just an empty solder pad.

So, did I get a bad Lightening/headphone unit?
