How can I take out the physical memory to get old photos?

My Google Pixel will not turn on anymore. I had the battery replace and now when plugged in it just blinks that red LED light. I want some old photos and I am ready to complete tear the phone apart. I do not understand enough about phone and the internal memory. Can I take it out and get the photos from it that way?
