Surface Pro4 screen replacement - Touchscreen not working

Hi,

Amateur/beginner electronics repairer - Surface Pro4 screen replacement - Touchscreen not working

I managed to replace the screen which is working perfectly with touchscreen however the screen was damaged in transportation(blurry on one half).  I purchased another screen and installed however the touchscreen functionality does not work.

Have downloaded firmware, reset factory settings etc.

Checked with the first replacement screen which I know the touch functionality works, however not working now in the new replacement.

Have checked all the connectors

Any ideas - have I damaged a component ? Something else I am missing?
