Keys do not respond after login

After replacing the keyboard i’m having the same issue of the keyboard working fine in linux, the terminal when in recovery mode, or the login password field, but whenever I login my 789 UIO JKL and M<> keys completely stop working and/or act as a shortcut for something else in the OS. I haven’t found any custom keyboard bindings set and i’ve reset the PRAM once and still have no luck here. i’ve checked the connection between the keyboard and the trackpad, good, and the connection between the trackpad and the logic board, good. Is there something i’m missing here?
