Where to buy cheap iPhones from

Put an ad on Craigslist that as someone who buys phones for cash. Of course don’t be surprised that you are one of 200 others doing the same thing. You can also do a Facebook ad campaign, just make sure to target your ad appropriately. Usually places like eBay don't work because people who sell their phone that way expect to get a higher price. You can also peer through twitter and look for keywords that could come up in a tweet that will let you know when a conversation with someone’s followers might pivot into an acquisition opportunity for you. You can even narrow it down by zip code. Now, this is a way to get phones inexpensively. At least for less then buying broken phones on eBay, however, don’t expect to do it for cheap. No such thing as a cheap iPhone for you to practice on. Of course it depends where you live. We don’t know if you live in the country or in NYC. You’re more likely to get phones cheaper from Muscle Shoals, Alabama than from a metropolitan city.

If you want to just buy phones to practice on, just search for any smart phone. Especially if your going to be doing micro soldering. You just want PCB boards to practice on, work on your touch on removing screens without cracking them, removing SMD’s etc. Sure it’s not the same, I get it, but you’ll become more skilled regardless.
