Vizio p50-C1 Keeps shutting off multiple times 6-12 times

Anyone experience this with their Vizio p50-C1 ? It’s only a 2017 bought at Best Buy. Also when there is a bright white backdrop you can see vertical cloudy lines almost the full length top to bottom of the screen. I give up when it happens and go to our kids room where the Samsung 46 inch 2010 works fine. Help?

does the unit turn completely off (look for standby indicator) or does the screen just go black? if black, does it still glow as if the backlight is on or can you not see backlights lit up from the back of the unit? not sure about the white lines...could possibly be a failing display unit. you can try to remove the two ribbon cables from the bottom of the tcon board that leads to the panels boards and see if the unit stays on without cycling. if so, thats the issue. report back here and we can try and troubleshoot the panel a bit (probably a long shot, but have been successful on a few). if it continues to cycle, report this as well.
