Touch not responding, phone wont power on without reconnecting battery

After checking an iPhone 6s Plus for problems ( it didn’t seem to have any ) i went about replacing the screen. After replacing the LCD would power on but wasnt responsive to touch. I also have to disconnect the battery and connect it again to turn the phone on.

Im going to check the filters and decide if its the connector or IC issue (ive tried a known good LCD, this didnt work either). However the battery problem seems like a clue to what is wrong. but im not sure!

anyone had this happen?

Unlike the 6, & 6+, the 6S isn’t susceptible to Touch Disease per se as the touch IC is embedded in the screen.

If you have a known good OEM or high quality replacement screen try again with this to solve touch if this doesn’t work it is more than likely to be a Logic Board Issue.

Also try a new high quality battery if all of this doesn’t solve your issues, then it is defiantly a Logic Board problem.

Hope this might help I have only really started doing logic board repair so I may not be 100% correct.
