The two ends are shield connections which should be maintained but thats not the problem you face here.

Sadly, your issue is a mismatch between the display assemblies NFC chip and the user ID you are using on your watch. This happens when you fail to transfer the NFC chip over from your damaged display to the donor display

Your watch is confused! As it sees two different user ID’s one held in the watch and the other what’s held in the NFC chip so to won’t allow you access.

but what if it happens without display replacement ?

@akrajaei - Not sure I follow you? If you mean your watches NFC stopped working? Nothing has been done to the watch? Then you'll need to visit someone with the needed test gear to isolate out if the robber is a failed NFC chip or a bad connection

@danj

thank you for the response. nothing has been done to watch.

I know on certain generations of apple watch, the force touch sensor is paired to the board. If you damage and replace it, it will pair to the original device it was paired to, but it won’t pair with new devices.

@khan77874 ok so you know how the home buttons with TouchID are programmed or coded to a specific logic board? It's the same for the force touch sensor on certain generation of apple watch. There is this black adhesive ring that goes around the edge of the screen to secure it to the frame. If you damage it, and then replace it, the watch will work just fine with whatever device it was paired with prior to you fixing it. But when you reset the watch and unpair it from any device, it will not pair with a new one. It essentially bricks the device.

par

@khan77874 & @hootonberg - The force touch is not paired to the watch its only a sensor which sits between the display assembly and the case a simple transistor circuit is located on the flex to note the depression.
