Entire topcase or just the keyboard?

Hi

I recently inherited a macbook that got beer on its top case. I did a complete teardown of the machine (thanks to ifixit) and cleaned the keyboard (removed from the top case), despite this, only part of the keybard works, "a" "q" "w" , backslash, etc not working while the others are fine. How can I fix it ? Do I need a new top case ? The thing is that I need azerty..... difficult to find or at very expensive rates.

Futhermore once pieces were back together, the backlit was on part of the keyboard not the entire kb, (basically most the light was in the middle)

Thanks for your help

You could probably get away with a new keyboard alone, but I'm not sure if these are available to buy on their own. Take it to your local apple store I'm sure they will be able to help and order the part in but it will be a new top case as well as the keyboard
